Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens from patients using aseptic techniques and phlebotomy equipment.
  • Process accessions requisitions into the Laboratory Computer System, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen collection and processing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve specimen collection and processing issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
