Job Title: Phlebotomist/Clinical Laboratory Associate

Emerson Hospital is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist/Clinical Laboratory Associate to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens for analysis and performing routine processing for all specimens submitted for clinical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood specimens from patients for analysis
  • Perform routine processing for all specimens submitted for clinical analysis, including registration, accessioning, and receipt requisitions into the Laboratory Computer System
  • Work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Previous laboratory and computer experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy Certification preferred
