Job Summary

The Hospice Aide (Union S-SVC) is a vital member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to patients and their families. As a representative of FC Compassus LLC, you will embody our values of compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model the Compassus values and promote the Compassus philosophy, utilizing the 6 Pillars of Success as a foundation.
  • Uphold the Code of Ethical Conduct and foster positive working relationships within the company, among departments, and with external stakeholders.
  • Perform essential functions, adapting to accommodate team members with disabilities, and maintaining regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
  • Work in a healthcare setting, exposed to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and conditions typical to the field, utilizing standard medical equipment and tools.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties.
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English, and articulate and embrace integrated healthcare at home philosophy.
Work Environment

The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
