Position Overview

Burn Media Co. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to drive business growth by prospecting new clients, nurturing relationships, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, goals, and challenges to effectively position our marketing solutions.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored marketing proposals to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
  • Manage and track leads in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, and effective pipeline management.
  • Negotiate and close deals, addressing client objections and securing profitable contracts that align with both client expectations and company goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, strategists, designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, analyze key performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous sales improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record, preferably in the marketing, advertising, or related industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Relationship building skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and provide innovative solutions.
  • Team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • CRM proficiency, with experience using CRM systems to manage leads, track activities, and generate reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
