Drywall Superintendent Job Description

At CyberCoders, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drywall Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial drywall projects, from planning to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate all drywall projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and guide subcontractors, laborers, and other workers to maintain quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Material Management: Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment are properly coordinated and organized.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all paperwork accurately and on time, including job cost tracking and reporting.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with the Project Manager, customers, and all other stakeholders to ensure the project is running smoothly.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drywallers, including training and monitoring their progress.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of commercial drywall, metal stud framing, sheet rock, acoustical ceiling, and EIFS.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare drywall industry preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
