Customer Service Specialist Job Description

At The Sherwin-Williams Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our wholesale and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to customers in person and over the phone, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product features and benefits, and be able to recommend the right solutions to customers.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that products are stocked and presented in a way that meets customer expectations.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including equipment and displays.
Requirements:
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Language: Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Education: Have at least a high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
