Content Curator, Mobile Equipment Industry

We are in search of a skilled Content Curator who possesses exceptional writing, publishing, social media, and multimedia reporting abilities. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Experience in journalism and print production is highly valued, along with familiarity in the mobile equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as the editorial authority for content related to mobile equipment.

· Craft both long-form and short-form articles, product descriptions, blogs, and more for various platforms, including print and digital, while attending industry events.

· Oversee e-newsletters and manage social media presence.

· Delegate and supervise contributed and freelance content for both print and digital formats.

· Lead the monthly content production cycle, collaborating with the Production Manager, Art Director, and other team members.

· Develop SEO-friendly headlines for online publications, utilizing content management systems to optimize keyword usage.

· Work closely with the Construction content team to share and promote relevant material.

· Manage awards programs and specification guides, collaborating with the Content Director and Sales team to enhance operational processes.

· Assist in the creation of custom client content and programs as required.

· Partner with the Content Director to pinpoint key industry topics, establish an annual editorial calendar, and refresh the digital media kit.

· Maintain content for various platforms, including contributed articles, case studies, and news postings.

· Facilitate and moderate podcasts, video productions, and webinars, including industry summits.

· Attend industry events and conferences to stay connected and informed.

· Adapt and repurpose content across different media formats.

Objectives:

Ensure that both print and digital channels are consistently updated with engaging content, including written, audio, video, and visual elements.

· Take charge of the brand's editorial vision, including content strategy.

· Deliver articles and assignments within established deadlines.

· Input and manage content within the content management system.

· Collaborate with the Construction content team to curate and disseminate valuable content.

· Stay informed about industry developments and trends, enhancing knowledge in the mobile equipment sector.

· Ensure all content is thoroughly edited and accurate.

· Schedule and publish content according to the established timeline.

· Generate innovative content ideas and potential revenue streams for consideration.

· Analyze content performance to understand audience engagement.

· Repurpose content across various brand channels.

· Contribute to custom client projects as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in team and organizational meetings.
  2. Engage in networking and relationship-building with clients.
  3. Attend industry events and conferences.
  4. Collaborate with sales and design teams on client projects, including webinars and premium content.
  5. Oversee awards programs and specification guides, working with the Content Director and Sales team to refine processes.
  6. Collaborate with the Art Director on print production.
  7. Assist in proofreading print materials to ensure high-quality content.
  8. Moderate podcasts and webinars, including industry summits.
  9. Work with Social Media Specialists to create engaging social media content.
