Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate loan applications from HOAs, meticulously reviewing financial documents, budgets, and other relevant information.
  • Assess the creditworthiness of HOAs based on financial health, operational stability, reserve studies, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to establish suitable loan terms and conditions aligned with risk assessment outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the HOA loan portfolio, conducting regular assessments and reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards governing HOA lending within multiple state jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory changes and maintain adherence to best practices.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to underwriting processes and portfolio management strategies to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes impacting HOA lending and portfolio management practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in underwriting, managing loan portfolios, or commercial real estate lending, preferably within the HOA sector.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret complex financial statements and assess credit risk effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues relevant to lending operations.
