Job Summary
Astera Labs Inc., a leader in purpose-built connectivity solutions for data-centric systems, seeks a skilled professional to support our Hardware Engineering team in delivering world-class products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation of electronic laboratories, ensuring efficient management and tracking of prototypes.
- Execute intricate electronic soldering and rework on complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
- Oversee the lifecycle of prototypes, guaranteeing timely and effective management.
- Perform electrical measurements as part of the design validation process, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to collectively run tests and resolve complex technical challenges.
Basic Qualifications/Required Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent qualification in training and experience; prior technical lab experience is essential.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in rework and assembly of complex PCBA prototypes.
- Ability to interpret schematics layouts, troubleshoot electronic systems, and perform electrical engineering debugging.
- Capacity to follow written procedures to complete complex tasks and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Ability to document and communicate debug-related findings and measurement results.
Preferred Experience
- Comfortable removing and replacing 0201-size components.
- Experience with high-speed measurements to enhance product testing.
- Ability to configure and set up computers and test equipment for seamless operations.
