Job Description

We are looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer in the Datacenter Systems Engineering team. As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you will work closely with board designers, Silicon Solutions, and AE teams to validate and characterize system's power management controllers of NVIDIA's datacenter modules.

Responsibilities
  • Complete validation plans for GPU and CPU modules, and other peripheral cards that get integrated into NVIDIA's datacenter products
  • Electrical and functional validation of power sensors, MCU, I2C, SPI, SMBUS, and PCIe interfaces
  • Develop test plans for new features and improve existing plans
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to debug and resolve any HW/SW product issues
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve validation speed and efficiency
Requirements
  • BSEE/BSCE or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on hardware/software debug experience
  • Strong understanding of digital design, circuit design analysis, and computer architecture
  • Programming skills with experience in Python or other scripting languages (such as Perl, Shell)
  • Hands-on lab experience with board bringup, lab debug, and lab tools (Logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

  • Base salary range: $104,000 USD - $247,250 USD
