Technical Sales Representative

We are looking for a talented Sales Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to effectively articulate complex technical information to both business and technical users.
This is a remote role that requires frequent travel to provide support to clients and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and managing the technology assessment stage of the sales process and providing product training to customers and other members of the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
- Confer with customers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and promote the sale of company products.
- Develop, present or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements.
- Sell products requiring extensive technical expertise and support.
- Diagnose problems with installed equipment.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Requirements:
- Technical background equivalent to a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 2 years of relevant experience in IP (network) CCTV products.
- Must be prepared for travel 50%-75% of the time.
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
- Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $140,000 based on location and industry standards.
