Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility assistance.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Lead and participate in life enrichment activities, such as exercise programs, arts and crafts, and social events.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and alarms, and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse's Aid (CNA) certification or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
