Key Responsibilities:

Avionics Systems Integration:

Lead the Avionics System integration process, ensuring seamless incorporation into aircraft design with a focus on performance, efficiency, and sustainability.


Team Collaboration:

Lead, direct work assignments and coordinate activities between avionics system engineers, airframe designers, electrical, and mechanical systems engineering teams to achieve optimal design solutions.

Identify compatible protocols to address the required number of labels to host data, meet performance requirements (e.g. signal latency), and integrate software, firmware, and hardware via multi-supplier collaboration.

Project Management:
Manage avionics integration projects, oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all avionics systems meet relevant aerospace standards and regulatory requirements for certification.

Supplier Management:

Work closely with avionics system suppliers and partners to define requirements, resolve technical challenges, and ensure delivery of high-quality components and systems.


Testing and Validation:
Oversee the testing and validation of the avionics system to verify performance and safety criteria are met.

Innovation and Research:

Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in hybrid aircraft systems integration, leading efforts to incorporate innovative solutions into aircraft designs.


Strategic Planning:

Contribute to the strategic planning of avionics systems technologies and integration methodologies to maintain and enhance the company's competitive edge.


Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years in the aerospace industry within an aircraft or OEM environment, with substantial leadership experience in engineering, particularly through the design, development, and certification lifecycle of EASA/FAA Part 25 aircraft.


Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of contemporary avionics systems technologies, system integration, and aerospace certification processes.

Leadership:
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects from concept through to certification and production.

Problem-Solving:
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical challenges through innovative solutions.

Communication:
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
