Mental Health Practitioner for Children

Fraser is seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to provide clinical services to children aged 2-6 with mental health diagnoses within our preschool day treatment program and/or outpatient skills services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering day treatment skills training for preschool-aged children, maintaining accurate documentation, and potentially providing outpatient skills services. Additionally, they may have opportunities to develop leadership skills by guiding Mental Health Technicians.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This may include a Bachelor's degree and 2,000 hours of supervised clinical hours, or 4,000 hours of supervised clinical hours through work experience. A valid Minnesota Driver's License with an acceptable record is also required. Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs is highly preferred, but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate respect for diversity and cultural differences, possess excellent observation and documentation skills, and be proficient in English communication. Computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel, as well as keyboarding skills, are essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also necessary. Finally, the successful candidate will be committed to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion, with a focus on culturally responsive practice and internal self-awareness.
Work Arrangements:
Fraser offers full-time or part-time positions, Monday to Friday, during standard business hours. The location of the position is in Eagan, MN. The starting hourly rate is $23.56, with actual pay dependent on qualifications. Fraser provides a range of benefits, including scheduled performance feedback and opportunities for pay raises based on performance, career growth opportunities, supervised clinical hours, and more. Work-life balance is encouraged, with generous paid time off for full-time employees. Benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours per week, including a 403(b) retirement account with Fraser contribution, childcare discount at Fraser School, referral bonuses, and tuition discounts.
