Position Details:
Compensation: $44.59/hr*

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate ongoing progress to parents, educators, and relevant personnel.
- Ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Design and implement adapted physical education strategies to enhance physical fitness and motor skills.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Tailor instruction to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
- Provide constructive feedback and foster a love for physical education.
- Create and sustain a safe and effective learning environment.
- Manage physical education resources and procure equipment as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Education credential with Adapted Education authorization or enrollment in a qualifying program with eligibility for a waiver.
- Hold appropriate automobile insurance for work-related travel.
- Pass a background check through the FBI and DOJ.
- Current TB Test (within the last 6 months).
