Job SummaryThe Inclusion Specialist will coordinate with school administrators, psychologists, and other staff members to support students with disabilities in general education classrooms. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with general education teachers to develop strategies for supporting students with disabilities.
- Assess student progress and develop behavior support plans.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Develop and maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP goals.
- Provide training and support to teachers on inclusive practices and strategies.
- Coordinate with community agencies and organizations to provide resources and services for students.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Special Education Credential and Autistic Authorization.
- Two years of experience working in a Special Education program.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and build strong relationships.
