Job Summary

The Dolese Bros. IT Analyst is responsible for providing top-notch support to various business-facing IT operations applications. This role will collaborate with users to optimize technology utilization, ensuring critical business applications remain operational, and assist during application upgrades and new software implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to users of Operations applications, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, interpret results, and recommend solutions to reported issues, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Effectively communicate new issues and resolutions to team members, documenting steps to resolve them for future reference.
  • Assist Project Managers and Business Analysts in implementing information systems that enhance organizational efficiency, aligning with business objectives.
  • Contribute to defining business and technical requirements based on business problems, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs.
  • Support planning and monitoring projects and programs, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to manage requirements at the project level, ensuring valuable results for stakeholders and verifying solution fulfillment.
  • Utilize requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
  • Empower users within Operations to self-serve, reducing IT bottlenecks and maintaining company productivity.
  • Identify areas for improvement and conceptualize methods to enhance efficiency, driving continuous process refinement.
  • Provide training to others inside and outside the department on new solutions as needed, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Participate in new projects and application implementations as required, contributing to the success of the organization.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting IT business applications or operational roles required.
  • Experience with Command Alkon and Sysdyne Technologies product lines preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills required.
  • Microsoft SQL skills required.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Operations applications.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Ability to track, manage, and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High organizational skills and prioritization of tasks required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
  • Ability to train professional and clerical staff in routine systems use.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, technical experts, and other employees.
  • Ability to travel to various field locations for work purposes.
  • Willingness to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift, push, or pull objects of various dimensions up to 30 lbs. of weight occasionally.
  • Ability to perform 80% sedentary work and tolerate prolonged standing/sitting/walking.
  • Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push, and pull objects.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
  • Ability to verbally communicate, hear, and see.
