We are seeking an experienced Administrative Director to lead our Diagnostic Imaging Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the daily operations and long-range planning of our Diagnostic Imaging Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage the annual budget for Diagnostic Imaging Services, including revenue projections, departmental expenses, salaries, capital equipment, and short- and long-term plans.
- Evaluate new products and equipment, and provide recommendations for purchase based on research.
- Oversee staff scheduling, work rotations, in-service education, and the scheduling of staff interviews and hires qualified candidates.
- Perform criteria-based evaluations of staff, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Maintain and report monthly volume statistics.
- Prepare and implement a department-specific Quality Assurance plan to ensure compliance with acceptable standards of care.
- Assist with peer review activities as warranted.
- Prepare and maintain department-specific policies, procedures, and protocols, and report according to Joint Commission standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in Diagnostic Imaging is required.
- Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
