Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

The University Hospital is looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality healthcare services to adult detainees in our detention center. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Estimated Salary:$ 140,000 per year

About the Role

This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialized healthcare services to adult detainees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience working with vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and diagnose the physical and mental health needs of adult detainees
  2. Develop and implement personalized care plans to address the complex needs of our patients
  3. Promote healthy behaviors and support the recovery of individuals with mental health issues
Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with a Master's degree in nursing or equivalent experience. You should also have three years of nursing experience and two years of advanced practice experience. Certification by a national nursing body is preferred.

Licenses and Credentials

You must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas and credentialed by the State to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Prescriptive authority is essential for this position.
