About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team at Crystal Counseling, PLLC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) team, you will provide essential nursing services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

Job Summary

This is a field-based position that requires you to visit clients in their homes and the community. You will be responsible for administering medication injections, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educating clients on medications and general health issues, and providing comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medication injections as prescribed by medical professionals;
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care;
  • Educate clients on medications, healthy habits, and disease management;
  • Conduct initial health assessments and ongoing monitoring to identify potential health risks;
  • Transport clients to medical appointments or facilities as needed;
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatments, and progress;
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases and develop treatment plans;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. A strong foundation in nursing principles, medication administration, and health education is also essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
