The role of the Metalworking Revenue Growth Specialist at E&R Parent Holding LLC involves driving revenue growth in metalworking categories within assigned accounts. This is a technical sales position that requires proactive engagement with primary account managers to jointly build metalworking business.

Key responsibilities include conducting needs analysis to match customer requirements with E&R's products or services, leading customer discussions to challenge them to think differently about their business, exploring customer needs, identifying problems, and utilizing research to find compelling reasons to change, determining customer readiness, focusing on those willing to take advantage of E&R's products or services.

Solutions and Implementation:

  • Provide customers with cost-reducing or efficiency-improving solutions using innovative product applications.
  • Develop solution options through ongoing dialogue with the customer and available technology.
  • Link features and benefits to business outcomes.
  • Work with internal contacts and manufacturers to support solutions.
  • Perform cost savings analysis and gain customer feedback.

Implementation and Maintenance:

  • Engage E&R Industrial resources to develop implementation plans and timelines.
  • Drive implementation plans with customers and check progress.
  • Leverage post-implementation success to gather more information from customers.

Metalworking Expertise:

  • Educate customers on market trends, technology, and their impact on business.
  • Investigate nonstandard solutions to profitably satisfy customer needs.
  • Expand customer understanding and use of E&R Industrial standard products and services.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year based on location and experience.

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years cutting tool and/or machine tool manufacturer or distribution experience.
  • Previous field sales experience with cutting tools and/or machine tools.
  • Business analysis experience and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Understanding of major machine tool and cutting tool brands and applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CNC operations, including turning, drilling, and milling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of metal cutting, including speeds and feeds, materials, and tool types.
  • Basic CNC programming skills and knowledge preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
