About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapy CRT to join our team at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive image of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general respiratory therapy to all ages, including incentive breathing devices, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and suctioning.
  • Evaluate diagnostic studies, including bedside spirometry, pulmonary mechanics, and blood gas analysis.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to deliver quality respiratory services and promote a positive image of the department.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of Texas.
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred.
