We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Recreational Program Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse groups of people and contribute to the Y's mission of enhancing the Glenville community.

Variety of Shifts Available

  • Part-time shifts available, flexible hours for Program Instructors
  • Part-time hours available: Monday- Friday 8:15am-11:45am, Monday – Thursday 4:15pm-7:45pm, Fridays 3:45-7:15pm, Saturdays 7:45am-12:15pm for Babysitters

Compensation and Benefits

  • Program Instructors: $15.90 per hour
  • Babysitters: $15.50 per hour

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. HS Diploma/ GED
  2. College level study in a physical education, health education or recreational program preferred
  3. Previous experience in coordinating a similar recreational program
  4. Appropriate professional certifications
  5. Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
