Job SummaryThe Night Audit Position is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Night Audit Associate, you will be responsible for covering the front desk during the overnight shift, assisting guests as needed, and ensuring all revenue is accurately posted and balanced.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the night time hours, providing exceptional service to guests and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Operate the PBX system, handling guest calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests, ensuring a seamless and efficient check-in process.
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local information, providing guests with accurate and helpful information.
- Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, ensuring accurate and timely posting of revenue.
- Verify wake-up call requests and ensure they are properly handled.
- Balance all cash receipts and make deposits as necessary.
- Prepare the front office for the 'A' shift, resetting day's business and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Attend and actively participate in all front office meetings, staying informed about hotel operations and guest needs.
- Report any suspicious activity or concerns to security immediately.
This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, walk, and use hands to handle and feel objects. The employee must also be able to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions and moderate noise levels in the work environment.
