Primary Objective of Night Audit Position

The Night Audit position is responsible for covering the front desk during the overnight shift, ensuring all revenue is accurately posted, and completing necessary reports. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the night time hours.
  • Operate the PBX system and handle guest inquiries.
  • Register guests, assign rooms, and provide key cards and instructions.
  • Verify wake-up call requests and ensure they are properly handled.
  • Balance all cash receipts and make deposits.
  • Prepare the front office for the 'A' shift and reset day's business.
  • Attend and participate in front office meetings.
  • Report any suspicious activity to security immediately.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role requires standing, walking, and frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to climb stairs while carrying 25 pounds. The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
