Job Summary:

Burlington is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately and efficiently process transactions, handle cash, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Layaways, Returns, and Exchanges: Process layaways, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales floor associates to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and support other team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail when processing transactions and handling customer inquiries.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and support other team members as needed.
