About the Role

This is a non-management position that reports to a supervisor or manager. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.

  • Accurately interpret and prepare medication orders under the direction of a pharmacist.
  • Fill, label, and package medications and pharmaceuticals, ensuring timely delivery to patient care areas.
  • Contribute to an efficient pharmacy work environment by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Pharmacy Technician I, PRN will include:

  1. Interpreting and preparing medication orders using department policies and procedures.
  2. Filling, labeling, and packaging medications and pharmaceuticals.
  3. Delivering medications to patient care areas in a timely manner.
  4. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to regulatory guidelines for pharmacy operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registration with the SC Board of Pharmacy.
  • Pharmacy Tech Certification within 18 months of hire date.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
