About the Role

Prisma Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care for patients.

Job Summary

This is a dynamic position that requires advanced skills in compounding and inventory management. You will work closely with pharmacists to prepare medications, manage inventory, and ensure accurate dispensing of medications to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compounding and Preparation: Prepare medications, including pediatric doses, non-sterile compounding, and total parental nutrition (TPN) compounding.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Accurate Dispensing: Ensure accurate dispensing of medications to patients, adhering to regulatory guidelines and departmental policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; OR post high school degree.
  • Experience: Six (6) months experience as a Pharmacy Tech.
  • Certifications: State Certified Pharmacy Tech with the SC Board of Pharmacy.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $38,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
