Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects, acquiring knowledge and showcasing expertise in supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety: Identify and improve safety at the site through technology, work cell redesign, improved ergonomics, and other means.
- Quality: Assist in delivering world-class quality by writing work instructions, completing Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), setting up First Article Inspection (FAI)/inspection criteria, poke-yoke, error proofing, and managing Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) and Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs).
- Delivery: Deliver capacity improvements to operations by identifying and executing kaizens to remove bottlenecks and meet customer demand.
- Lean: Become a site expert in lean manufacturing, executing time studies, balancing assembly operations, value stream mapping, implementing poke-yoke, and driving improvements to material scheduling, delivery, and presentation.
- Project Management: Plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing good project management skills to manage risk, understand critical path and dependencies to meet project goals.
