Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled MSP Technician - Tier 2 to join our team at Computer Corner - Albuquerque. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional network maintenance and support to our clients, ensuring their technology systems operate correctly with minimal interruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing security measures for computers or information systems to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
  • Analyzing the security of systems, networks, or data to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Resolving computer network problems quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Supporting end users as they adopt security best practices, providing guidance and training to ensure they are equipped to handle technical issues.
  • Documenting network-related activities or tasks to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Mentoring junior team members to develop their skills and expertise, ensuring a smooth transition of knowledge and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Tier 2 MSP role, with a strong background in network maintenance and support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards, with the ability to implement and maintain secure systems and processes.
