Position Overview:
The role of the Show Quality Operations Manager is pivotal in upholding our organizational vision, mission, and values. This position is essential in ensuring that our Guest Service Philosophy and Standards are embraced throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a work environment that emphasizes professionalism, collaboration, and enjoyment among all team members.
  • Oversee the daily operations and development of the Show Quality and casting teams, ensuring that all entertainment elements are executed and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Lead the Show Quality management team to provide consistent and constructive performance feedback to all entertainers.
  • Directly manage the Show Quality team, ensuring that casting processes are consistent and meet quality expectations.
  • Support and guide Assistant Managers and team members, addressing performance issues and recognizing achievements.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to develop strategies for enhancing team member and guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with various park departments to address employee and guest situations effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Actively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Show Quality and Casting Management:

  • Ensure the Show Quality team delivers regular performance evaluations aligned with the creative vision of each show.
  • Implement and maintain a tracking system for performer feedback, collaborating with management to establish feedback standards.
  • Develop and manage training programs for all performer roles, ensuring ongoing development and consistency.
  • Stay informed about industry standards related to performance and feedback methods.
  • Regularly review entertainment elements to ensure quality, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Create timelines for show quality initiatives, ensuring all milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Assist in budget management for the department, following company procedures for financial transactions.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to promote awareness and consistency in quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • BFA or 5+ years of experience in themed entertainment preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a live entertainment or theatrical setting.
  • Experience in managerial or supervisory roles.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong ability to interpret and follow safety and operational guidelines.
  • Proficient in writing reports and training documentation; experience with presentations is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills for delivering performance feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across different business units.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 (Bonus Eligible)
