Job Description

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist for Children, you will be responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to a pediatric population, from neonatal through adolescence/young adulthood.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  2. Develop and implement patient treatment plans, including age-appropriate, functional, and measurable goals with target timeframes.
  3. Collaborate with other disciplines within the hospital and community to maximize the effectiveness of patient care.
  4. Provide patient and family education, and participate in discharge planning, care conferences, and outpatient rounds.
  5. Supervise and direct rehab technicians and/or students, providing input into their performance evaluations.
