Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and techniques.
- Document client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology research, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Alabama.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Previous experience working with diverse populations, including pediatric and adult clients, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapy interventions.
