Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services to pediatric patients, from neonatal through adolescence/young adulthood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and family-centered care principles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on speech-language pathology services and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
