Stock Control Supervisor

Role Summary:
The Inventory Manager plays a crucial role in managing the comprehensive inventory and lot organization at Mazda of Columbia. This position entails ensuring that all vehicles in stock are accurately accounted for, displayed appropriately, and that the lot is systematically organized and merchandised. The Inventory Manager collaborates closely with both new and used car managers to guarantee that all inventory is prepared and presented effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inventory audits to detect discrepancies or issues, utilizing a used car inspection checklist.
- Coordinate with drivers for the collection and delivery of new and used vehicles.
- Maintain and update the inventory management system to ensure precise record-keeping and detailed descriptions.
- Work alongside new and used car managers to ensure the lot is visually appealing and updated monthly.
- Establish and execute inventory management protocols and strategies to support the new and used car managers.
- Analyze inventory data regularly to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Address any inquiries or challenges related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with team members and suppliers.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and its components is advantageous.
