Job Overview:
- Assist in the technical and operational aspects of broadcasting for the athletics department.
- Support the Chief Engineer and the Assistant Director of Engineering for athletic media.
- Oversee the logistical coordination of equipment for athletic events.
- Provide training to students on the proper use and maintenance of broadcasting equipment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding of control room operations.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and a solid work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with ACC and NCAA broadcasting regulations.
- Experience with standard broadcasting equipment used in the industry.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills in live broadcasting environments.
- Current knowledge of trends and advancements in broadcasting technology.
Compensation:
Pay Band: 3
Hourly Rate: $26.67, with an annual salary potential of up to $40,000.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate will be subject to a criminal background check.
