Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Armada. As a key member of our Information Assurance division, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining secure IT systems, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and Maintaining RMF Plans: Develop, maintain, and track Risk Management Framework (RMF) system security plans, including System Categorization Forms, Platform Information Technology (PIT) Determination Checklists, and more.
  • Executing RMF Process: Assist in obtaining and maintaining Interim Authority to Test (IATT), AO approval, Authorization to Operate (ATO), and Denial of Authorization to Operate (DATO).
  • Identifying Security Risks: Identify and tailor IT and CS security control baselines based on RMF guidelines and categorization of the RMF boundary.
  • Performing Vulnerability Assessments: Perform Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM), IT and CS vulnerability-level risk assessments, and execute security control testing as required.
  • Mitigating Vulnerabilities: Remediate IT and CS system level vulnerabilities for all assets within the boundary per STIG requirements.
Requirements:
  • DOD IAT-III Certification: A minimum of 7 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Proven experience in capturing and refining information security operational and security requirements, ensuring those requirements are properly addressed through purposeful architecting, design, development, and configuration.
