Emergency Department Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Alaska RN licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • 1 year of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
