We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Kodiak, Alaska.
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute medical conditions. You will be responsible for delivering prompt, effective care to patients, triaging patients based on the severity of their condition, and administering appropriate treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, effective care to patients in the emergency department.
- Triage patients based on the severity of the condition and administer appropriate treatment.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, making rapid decisions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
