Job Overview

The Equipment Installation Specialist at Alliance Laundry Systems is responsible for the proficient installation of commercial laundry machinery for a diverse clientele, ensuring compliance with established quality protocols and operational procedures. This role may also encompass the servicing and repair of equipment as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the installation of equipment and components, ensuring proper setup, operation, and adherence to safety standards to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Deliver precise diagnostics, guidance, and training to clients regarding the effective use of commercial laundry machinery.
  • Support routine maintenance and repair activities for machinery and components.
  • Participate in the disassembly of equipment for installation purposes.
  • Customize equipment programming to meet client specifications and verify optimal performance after installation.
  • Document detailed reports of all tasks performed.
  • Travel to client sites for on-site installations and address urgent requests as directed by the Service Manager.
  • Communicate any escalations to the Service Manager and engage in efforts to enhance operational processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure smooth operational flow.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Familiarity with single and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Experience in customer service environments preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel is confined to the service area; occasional overnight travel may be necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Role involves physical activities, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
