Procurement Specialist

Southlake Automation is a rapidly expanding industrial controls systems integrator. Our dedicated teams design tailored robotic and automated solutions aimed at enhancing safety, productivity, and sustainability for a diverse clientele.

We are currently in search of a full-time Purchasing Specialist to manage daily procurement activities and vendor relations. This role involves sourcing industrial components and equipment on a project basis to support our automation systems. Experience in a manufacturing setting is highly valued.

This position is based out of our office, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate purchase orders utilizing QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Identify suppliers to secure optimal pricing and timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with vendors to enhance the procurement workflow.
• Monitor orders post-purchase to ensure punctual delivery.
• Provide financial reporting to project managers regarding project expenditures.
• Coordinate shipments for outgoing products and systems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
• High level of accuracy in data entry.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Office365.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or business support role; a college degree is preferred.
