Job Description: Senior Landscape Architect

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect in our Lakeland, TN office. This role may involve working on county/local level comprehensive plans, neighborhood plans, downtown and community revitalization plans, corridor plans, park plans, and strategic plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare expert opinions regarding development proposals, plan amendments, rezoning, and annexations for public or private clients.
  • Develop and present public and client presentations, facilitate public meetings and workshops.
  • Review development plans for conformity with local regulations.
  • Conduct field inspections to gather project data.
  • Write proposals, develop budgets, and schedules.
  • Engage in client interactions and business development.
  • Aid in construction administration, including field observations.
  • Evaluate technical documents through Quality Assurance reviews.
  • Manage project timelines and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture.
  • At least 2-4 years of landscape architecture experience (consulting preferred).
  • Landscape Architecture Licensure (preferred) or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Sketch Up, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with client interaction and teamwork.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Estimated annual salary: $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience.
