Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team at Sylvan Health. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in payroll/benefits management, candidate sourcing and recruitment, onboarding, compliance training, and credentialing paperwork for new hires.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage accurate and timely processing of payroll for timecard employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state-specific wage and hour laws, including overtime, meal/rest break regulations, and accurate timekeeping practices.
  2. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, while coordinating with third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  3. Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding payroll and benefits inquiries, providing guidance on state-specific policies and ensuring clear communication on compliance-related issues.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in an early-stage company or high-growth environment; 5-7+ years of total professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of multi-state payroll processes and familiarity with multi-EIN organizations.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance coverage, generous time off policy, and 12 paid company holidays.
