Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Fire Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services for our customers' fire alarm systems and other related building system products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including diagnosing and repairing equipment and system malfunctions
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to identify and resolve issues with fire alarm systems and other related building system products
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems and other related building system products
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure their fire alarm systems and other related building system products are functioning properly and meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments to ensure our customers receive the best possible service
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm systems, access control, nurse call, and paging systems
  • Valid Fire Alarm License
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and tools up to 50-70 pounds, and work at heights up to 40 feet
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification
