Position Title: Licensed Plumber
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and maintaining plumbing systems within government facilities. This role involves working with various equipment and ensuring that all systems function efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems and related equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address building system issues.
- Conduct troubleshooting for all plumbing-related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation of systems.
- Identify and report any deficiencies to management.
- Oversee subcontractors and provide necessary documentation.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Plumber License (Journeyman or Master).
- A minimum of three years of experience in commercial and industrial plumbing maintenance.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Proficient knowledge of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to maneuver equipment and supplies as needed.
- Good manual dexterity and physical mobility.
- Willingness to perform various physical tasks including bending and kneeling.
