Role Overview:

As the Senior Vice President and Head of Client Relationship Management, you will be instrumental in steering the success of the APAC Relationship Management Group. Based in Hong Kong, you will oversee a team of relationship managers dedicated to driving new business and cultivating connections with existing Moody's Ratings clients across the Southern China region, which includes HKSAR, Macau SAR, and Taiwan. Your comprehensive knowledge of the debt capital markets, outstanding leadership capabilities, and proficiency in establishing robust professional networks will be crucial in enhancing and expanding Moody's footprint in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management: Direct, manage, and mentor the Relationship Management team within the South China sub-region. Collaborate with other sub-regional leaders across Greater China and APAC. Oversee budget reviews, forecasts, and staffing requirements for the sub-region.

Business Development: Formulate and implement a strategic business development agenda for the sub-region. Actively manage high-value accounts and lead the Annual Pricing Review. Conceptualize and initiate new product ideas as needed. Facilitate strategic discussions regarding business development and marketing strategies for all rating franchises in the sub-region.

Marketing and Events: Assist in the coordination of marketing research and support marketing initiatives tailored to the sub-region. Organize regional events such as roundtables and conferences; engage in relevant third-party events. Serve as a senior representative of the team to key intermediary partners in the market.

Regional and Global Projects: Provide assistance to the Asia Pacific Head of Relationship Management on both regional and global initiatives.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics.

A minimum of 15 years of experience in the financial services sector.

Prior experience in sales and marketing, particularly in a managerial capacity, is preferred.

Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
