  • Formulate and execute the overarching strategy for the company's commercial and industrial HVAC/duct systems projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and client expectations.
  • Drive business expansion by recognizing new opportunities and nurturing relationships with essential clients and stakeholders.

Project Management:

  • Supervise the successful execution of a portfolio of HVAC/duct systems projects, ensuring each project achieves its objectives regarding scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Track project advancement, address high-level challenges, and offer strategic direction to project teams.
  • Guarantee compliance with all regulatory standards, industry norms, and company policies.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the primary executive liaison for clients, cultivating strong, enduring relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage client expectations, and resolve any escalated issues or modifications to project scope.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage the financial performance of the project portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Authorize high-level project budgets, contracts, and financial reports.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance cost efficiency and improve project profitability without compromising quality.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and other key personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and ensure professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary resources and support to achieve project objectives.

Risk Assessment:

  • Identify and evaluate risks across the project portfolio, formulating mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to safety regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Oversee post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and apply them to future projects.

Innovation & Improvement:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance project delivery and outcomes.
  • Encourage the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability in HVAC/duct system projects.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale commercial and industrial HVAC/duct systems projects.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
