Position Overview:
The Aviation Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in guaranteeing that all aircraft, components, and shop inspections adhere to the Yulista Quality Management System (QMS) protocols and relevant technical documentation. This position involves conducting thorough visual and physical assessments, testing, and monitoring of parts, products, and raw materials to ensure they meet established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ data collection methodologies for evaluations, inspections, and audits, analyze results, and present findings effectively to senior management.
  • Conduct statistical analyses using standard quality control techniques to assess compliance and identify trends.
  • Apply inspection techniques and analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and deficiency evaluations.
  • Recommend Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs) and adjustments to Routine Inspection Lists (RILs) based on findings.
  • Interpret and apply Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders, engineering drawings, and safety standards in evaluations.
  • Assess complex systems and components for adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Review maintenance activities and ensure compliance with logistics support functions as directed by the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure that all personnel have the necessary resources to complete their tasks effectively.
  • Provide accurate reporting on project status and metrics to meet performance expectations.
  • Evaluate programs related to electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems in various environments.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality protocols as outlined in organizational guidelines.
  • Oversee special processes and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Develop and implement improvements in methods and control procedures to enhance quality.
  • Conduct audits and support audit processes.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and government representatives.
  • Prepare management briefings and define strategic initiatives.
  • Assess training needs to ensure team skills remain current and effective.
Supervisory Role:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but holds the authority to execute assigned tasks effectively.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in Aviation Inspection.
  • Possession of an A&P License or Military School Certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a government vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical principles related to aircrew egress systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
