Job Summary

Volkert Inc is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support our East Gulf Region. This position will be based out of Alabama and will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance tasks on project design and construction
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide technical guidance to the quality assurance engineering team
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the quality management system
  • Develop and manage staff to meet business objectives
  • Manage project controls and quality improvement committees
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Minimum of 10 years of transportation infrastructure design and construction experience
  • Experience on highway transportation infrastructure projects involving roadway and bridge aspects
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
