We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Facility Services Unlimited. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and restroom cleaning.
- Inspections and Maintenance: Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Heavy Cleansing and Projects: Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
- Reporting and Communication: Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs and make adjustments and minor repairs as necessary.
- Supply Management: Stock and maintain supply rooms, ensuring that all necessary cleaning chemicals and supplies are available.
- Team Collaboration: Cooperate with the rest of the staff to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Experience: Proven working experience as a cleaner or in a related field.
- Skills: Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets, and integrity.
- Education: High school degree or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience: Supervising experience and customer service experience (preferred).
This is a full-time position that requires working in person at our facilities.
